Council Of Ministers Tour Trust Fund Project Sites

Philipsburg, Sint Maarten –On Friday, April 16, the National Recovery Program Bureau (NRPB) hosted the Council of Ministers on anexcursion to visit several activity project sites being executed under the Dutch sponsored Sint Maarten Trust Fund.

PHILIPSBURG:--- The US$12 million Digital Government Transformation Project was approved by the Sint Maarten Recovery, Reconstruction and Resilience Trust Fund. This project aims to enhance the access, efficiency, and resilience of public services for citizens and businesses.

Given Sint Maartens vulnerability to natural disasters, business continuity and systems resilience are critical. Home Repairs Continue, Enters Into Accelerated Pace

Philipsburg Now firmly in its third phase, the Private Home Repair Program of the Sint Maarten Trust Fund is steadily moving along with repairs to homes damaged by Hurricane Irma in 2017. It is anticipated that when the program wraps up in mid-2021, repairs to the roofs, doors, and windows of approximately 200 private homes will be completed.
